Marie Machado and her dancers put on a great Hawaiian show once again and Lion Kertice Poon, our District 4c2 1st. Vice District Governor 2009/10 was the perfect addition and she was great. Lion Kertice brightened up the entertainment for the event. She fit in very well as she was just as good as the professional dancers.
At 6:00pm sharp, the Parade of the Pig with picture taking went well.
Immediately after, everyone went to the Buffet Table for their choice of food for dinner.

Report!
![]() The event was held once again at the
CANINE COMPANION BUILDING
there were more of the same and some added surprises for your enjoyment this year.
Ladies, came dressed in their Muu Muu and gents in Hawaiian Shirts. Everyone had a great time and food was plentiful. Food must have been great, because the food disappeared faster than usual, we found out later that a number of the guests were seen filling up extra plates and bringing plates full of food out to their cars. This has never happened before at any of our events. Good thing we planned more food than needed. We had enough food to feed over 250. We served 150 guests in attendance. We ended up with -0- food.
It was reported that all guests, even the late arrivals had plenty to eat. We fixed more food then we needed because we planned to offer guests take out boxes of food for a donation because we knew that some of the food served were specially made for the event, therefore one could not go out to purchase the same dishes. I guess we should say compliments to the cook and to those who took food home, we hope it was because you enjoyed the food. Looks like next year we will need to police the table more losely.
Lion Jim Paschal entertained with the Inspirations: Patty Graham, Soprano, Sharon Taylor, alto, Jim Paschal, tenor, Chris Cella, bass, entertained just before the Hawaiian dancers came on. We had guests who came to celebrate a birthday with their friends. We were able to set up a few tables for groups requesting to be seated together. "LUAU S.R ROSELAND LIONS STYLE"
